Dominic Sheldrick works in partnership with senior business leaders at an individual, team and organisational level to develop programmes and interventions. The key goal of each program is to deliver behavioural changes at all levels such that an environment is created where organisations can reach their full potential. Dominic strongly believes that sustainable learning and change requires individuals, teams and organisations to recognise, challenge and replace old habits and norms with new ways of thinking and behaving. To achieve this Dominic works with: -
- Individuals on a one-on-one coaching basis
- Teams as a group and targeted workshop facilitator
- Organisations as a change consultant
Dominic’s unique collection of experiences over the past 20 years informs his consulting style which he has developed since becoming a full time performance development consultant in 1998. Dominic’s experiences include swimming for Australia in 1987, soon after which he was diagnosed with Leukaemia, robbing him of a position on the 1988 Olympic Games Team. These two experiences, among many others, form much of who Dominic’s view of the world today and gives him the ability to appreciate both the fine balance between perceived success and failure in any of life’s endeavours and, what it take to achieve, maintain and build upon success.
Dominic has spent the last 10 years consulting extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Australia. Dominic’s most recent client relationships have been with Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Roche, DSM, Tangs (Singapore), Minter Ellison Lawyers and The Hong Kong Health Authority.
Dominic’s sporting background, personal challenges and consulting experiences result him being able to design and implement interventions that best meet the client’s needs in ‘soft skill’ awareness and development.
Prior to working with the Mettle Group, Dominic was Regional Director, Australasia for a Global Performance Development Consultancy. Dominic holds a Bachelor of Arts from Curtin University.
